Child Disability Benefit (CDB)
The Child Disability Benefit (CDB) is a tax-free benefit for families who care for a child under age 18 who is eligible for the disability amount. A child is eligible for the disability amount when a qualified practitioner certifies that the child has a severe and prolonged impairment in physical or mental functions, and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) approves the form
Grant for Services and Equipment for Students with Permanent Disabilities
This grant provides up to $8,000 in non-repayable assistance per academic year for students with permanent disabilities who need exceptional education-related services or equipment, such as tutors, note-takers, interpreters, braillers or technical aids. The grant is intended to cover exceptional education-related services or equipment not accounted for in the needs assessment.

Ontario’s Bursary for Students with Disabilities (BSWD) and the Canada Student Grant for Services and Equipment for Persons with Permanent Disabilities provide non-repayable financial assistance to full- and part-time students for disability-related services and equipment that they need to participate in postsecondary education.

Assisted Devices Program
The objective of the Assistive Devices Program (ADP) is to provide consumer centered support and funding to Ontario residents who have long-term physical disabilities and to provide access to personalized assistive devices appropriate for the individual’s basic needs. Devices covered by the program are intended to enable people with physical disabilities to increase their independence through access to assistive devices responsive to their individual needs.
Trillium Drug Program
The Trillium Drug Program (TDP) is intended for Ontario residents who have a valid Ontario Health Card and who have high prescription drug costs in relation to their net household income. The TDP provides benefits for certain prescription drugs.
Home and Vehicle Modification Program
The Home & Vehicle Modification® Program was established by the Government of Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services in 1999. It is administered by March of Dimes Canada. Please note: The Home & Vehicle Modification® Program is available only in Ontario
